On 23 July 2026 the FDA Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee (PCAC) reviewed BPC-157, TB-500, KPV and MOTS-c as candidates for the 503A bulk drug substances list. The 503A list governs which substances a pharmacy may legally compound for an individual prescription.
A vote against listing keeps a compound off the pathway to legal compounded preparation, and reinforces its status as a research chemical rather than a prescribable medicine. A vote to list opens a regulated route, subject to the FDA's final rulemaking.
This is a developing regulatory story, not a health recommendation. Nothing here changes the evidence grade or the risk profile of any compound. We update the dedicated tracker page as the committee's determinations publish.
