Send us a
certificate

Any company can send a certificate of analysis. We check it the same way for everyone, and we publish what we find.

Read this first

  • We accept no payment. Not for a listing, not for a position, not for a change, and not for removal.
  • No placement is for sale. There is no paid tier and there is no advertising in this directory.
  • The criteria are public. They are on the method page, and they are the same for every company.
  • We publish non-submission. If you decline, we record that you declined. If you do not answer, we record that you did not answer. Both appear with the date.
What happens next

How we check what you send

This is the whole process. It takes as long as the laboratory takes to answer.

  1. 01

We check that the certificate names a lot number, and that the lot number matches the product.

  2. 02

We contact the laboratory named on the certificate. We use the laboratory's own portal, or we email the laboratory directly.

  3. 03

We ask the laboratory to confirm the report number. We never confirm a report number from the file you send us, because a file can say anything.

  4. 04

We check that the certificate states its analytical method.

  5. 05

We keep a dated copy of the certificate.

  6. 06

We write to you with the result, and we publish the result.

If the laboratory has no record of the report number, we publish that too. This is the check that makes a certificate on this site worth something, so we apply it every time and we do not make exceptions.
