01

Identity & Classification

HGH Fragment 176-191 is the C-terminal fragment of human growth hormone. It covers residues 176 to 191.

02

Mechanism: How It Works

The proposed mechanism is lipolysis, plus an inhibition of lipogenesis, through a beta-3 adrenergic pathway.

Preclinical reports describe no increase in IGF-1 and no activation of the growth hormone receptor.

03

Research Findings

Evidence tier: preclinical only.

The unmodified native fragment never advanced to a formal human trial.

Identity warning. The developed and stabilized analog is AOD-9604. The two molecules are related. They are not identical. A claim about one does not transfer to the other.

04

Reported Dosing & Delivery

No high-authority human dosing exists. Only non-clinical community reports exist. This site does not publish them.

Not approved for human use.

05

Pharmacokinetics & Timing

Human pharmacokinetics are not well characterized.

06

Interactions & Combinations

No high-authority source documents an interaction.

Compare with AOD-9604.

07

Safety & Contraindications

No clinical human safety data exist. Preclinical reports describe the fragment as glucose-neutral.

08

Monitoring & Biomarkers

Glucose, in a research setting.

09

Regulatory Status

No regulator approves it. The WADA 2026 Prohibited List names hGH 176-191 under S2.2.
